Enquiring About Therapy

Making the decision to enquire about therapy is the biggest step you can take on your journey. I understand that it takes a great deal of courage just to send that first message, and you might be unsure about what to expect next.

Here’s a basic outline of what happens after you first get in touch with me, and how the process works from there.

Step 1: You Contact Me

You can send me a message via my website contact form, I am happy to answer general enquiries online.

You can also call me on 07766760860

If you get the voicemail, please leave me a message and I will get back to you.

Step 2: I Contact You

I will then arrange to speak with you at a a time that suits us both. I would like to speak with yourself and ask some questions to understand how I can help you.

We can then discus an appointment time for you.

Step 3: Make An Appointment

Once we make the appointment I ask all clients to fill a client form which gives me information about you, this helps me to prepare for the session and saves time for our work for your appointment.

It’s very important that you feel comfortable and relaxed with your therapist and that is why I offer all new clients a free no-obligation telephone consultation.

I find that most of my clients are very keen to get started right away. If, however, you are not sure whether you wish to proceed at this point, then you are of course under no obligation to continue.

In my practice I support people who feel a wide range of emotions: fear, sadness, doubt, overwhelmed, trapped by self-criticism, negative perceptions and or disruptive patterns.

I have a particular interest in helping people reduce anxiety as well as people who are navigating what it means to be themselves in several areas of their life.

Whatever you’re struggling with, I’m here to help you.

Reach out to me with a brief explanation of why you are looking for therapy or counselling, and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
